The Zamil Group was established in 1920 in Bahrain. Today, the group is a diversified conglomerate with businesses spanning building materials, manufacturing, offshore, petrochemicals, real estate, trade & services, and investments. In November 2024, the Zamil Group entered into a joint venture agreement with Wolffkran Holding AG to acquire a 50% stake in Wolffkran’s local rental and service business, Wolffkran for Equipment, and establish Saudi Arabia’s first integrated tower crane manufacturing facility. In January 2025, the Arab Energy Fund-led consortium, including the Zamil Group and the Ghandour family, fully acquired Metito Utilities.
