Junguo joined ICBC in 1999 and assumed his current position in December 2017. ICBC Middle East achieved an 8% increase in total assets to $32.4 billion in 2020. In 2020, ICBC Middle East issued a merger and acquisition loan of $100 million, and participated in syndicated loans worth more than $400 million for energy projects in the region.
