Ezzeldin assumed his role in 2015. As of March 2026, CHG had 16 facilities across Cairo and Suez, with 1,000 beds, serving over 1.4 million patients annually. In January 2026, it inaugurated the 240-bed Cleopatra El-Tagamoa Hospital. Ezzeldin is also a member of AmCham Egypt.
